PhD in Public Health with a specialization in Health Promotion

The program requires a minimum of 75 credit hours beyond the baccalaureate or 60 hours beyond the master’s degree (minimum of 36 hours of coursework and a minimum of 24 hours of dissertation credits).
Students enrolling in the Ph.D. program without a Master’s in Public Health may be required to complete additional coursework.

Secondary Field: Twelve credit hours are required in a secondary field of public health, such as dietetics and nutrition, health policy and management, environmental and occupational health, or  epidemiology and biostatistics.
