American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The annual deadline for receipt of applications is February 1. Applicants will be notified of the decisions during the spring semester. Students accepted to the program will begin enrollment in the Fall semester of each year. Additionally, we offer 25 credits of undergraduate prerequisites for applicants without a major in Communication Disorders. These courses are designed to provide individuals without bachelor degrees in speech language pathology with appropriate education necessary for admission into the graduate program. Our program is designed to meet the unique needs of the multicultural population of South Florida. Our graduates will be competent to assess and manage communication disorders in culturally and linguistically diverse individuals that exhibit communication differences and disorders.
