Welcome to FIU's Department of Dietetics and Nutrition web site. We are happy to have you visit us and learn more about the programs and opportunities available at FIU. The department offers Bachelor, Masters, and Doctoral degrees in dietetics and nutrition. At the undergraduate level, we offer a coordinated program (CP) and Didactic Program in dietetics (DPD), both leading to a B.S. in dietetics and nutrition. At the graduate level, we offer a M.S., MPH and Ph.D. degree. We provide students with a dietetic and nutrition -specific technical knowledge base in a multi-disciplinary and multicultural environment. Our goal in Dietetics and Nutrition is to train dietetic professionals who will promote nutrition as a critical part of disease treatment/prevention and integrate nutrition services into clinical, home and community-based health and social networks.
